NTM Patient Care UK is a relatively new organisation with big aspirations: we want to improve the lives of people with non-tuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infection in the UK.
We aim to do this through:
The provision of both education and information, to increase people’s understanding of NTM within patient communities as well as the broader clinical community.
The development and implementation of a support network for NTM patient communities.
However, to achieve these aims we need help and that is where we would like you to get involved.
Are you an NTM patient, or a friend or relative of an NTM patient, or perhaps a healthcare professional with a specific interest in NTM?
If so, would you like to be involved in our charity and help improve the lives of people with NTM?
Your involvement could range from simply being a contact who can provide feedback on matters of interest to NTM Patient Care UK, to providing help with maintenance of the website or queries received. You could also get involved with our Working Group of patients and clinicians, which meets regularly in order to advise the charity, suggest ideas and provide input into research. The choice is yours!
Whatever your involvement, you can have a positive impact and we would love to hear from you.
