NTM Patient Care UK is a relatively new organisation with big aspirations… we want to improve the lives of people with NTM infection in the UK.
NTM Patient Care UK was founded by two NTM patients and two specialist NTM physicians in response to the need for improved awareness and understanding of NTM infections and treatment, in both the patient population and the multi-disciplinary teams who provide diagnoses, treatment and support to these patients.
NTM Patient Care UK aims to provide an access point for information and support for NTM patients and their wider community. It also aims to work with the multi-disciplinary healthcare professional (HCP) teams involved in NTM care to ensure improved understanding of patient needs and to act as an enabler for relevant NTM information and understanding to pass from HCPs to patients.
NTM Patient Care UK is a charitable patient association registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales on 28th December 2018. It is the first NTM patient association to be established and registered with the Charity Commission.
